MATAM

High-tech development is a major objective for the Haifa Economic Corporation, aiming to propel Haifa forward as Israel's research and development hub and home to leading international technology companies.

On its road to fulfill its vision for Haifa, the Company planned and developed the MATAM Business Park at the city's southern outskirts. The 270,000 m2  complex of built space is rented out to leading international companies, including: Intel, Apple, Elbit, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Yahoo, Philips and more.  Over 10,000 people work at MATAM!

The Park is managed and developed by 'MATAM', a company jointly owned by the Haifa Economic Corporation and Gav Yam Property & Building Corp. www.gav-yam.co.il.

The MATAM subsidiary operates two additional subsidiary companies:  'Shatam', through which it provides all of the Park’s residents with property maintenance services; and the International Convention Center,  www.icchaifa.co.il, established by the Haifa Economic Corporation, with theaters and conference halls for conventions and exhibitions.
