The Haifa Economic Corporation has developed an open area sports park, south of the Nagler House, in Kiryat Haim. The project required a NIS 20 million investment for development and spans an area of 900,000 m2.
The first three phases of the project include two professional soccer fields with open spectator grandstands, for lower league and non-professional league games. Additionally, the excellent Hapoel Haifa club adopted the stadium as its home, and it is where the senior team and all the youth teams train. Further to these fields, two more synthetic mini-pitches were established for public mini-football games, as well as public fitness facilities.

This urban sports park is the green lung between the Kiryat Haim residential neighborhoods and the Haifa Bay industrial zones. The park focuses on sporting activities through state-of-the-art multi-purpose complexes for all ages. Currently under evaluation are additional sporting facilities, including for extreme sport, with emphasis on landscape architecture which will include rich foliage and vegetation, as befits Haifa's green vision.
